This Henderson project was not one surface in one room. It was a full stone cleaning and polishing job through the main living areas, kitchen, bathroom, and entry. The home had marble floors, mixed stone transitions, a granite kitchen countertop, a marble bathroom counter, and an entry tile area that needed cleaning and sealing.
The goal was simple: remove the dull, etched, scratched look and bring the stone back to a clean, reflective finish. For homeowners searching for stone cleaning in Henderson or countertop cleaning in Las Vegas, this is the kind of project where a basic mop, store-bought cleaner, or topical shine product will not solve the problem.
What we found in the home

The marble floors had normal traffic wear, but the heavier damage came from furniture and chairs. Several areas were etched and scratched, especially where chairs had been moved across the floor. The floor was also not perfectly flat, so we had to adjust the process instead of treating it like a simple maintenance polish.
There were two different marble materials in the home, plus areas where granite was mixed with marble. That matters because marble and granite respond differently to polishing chemistry and abrasives. If you use the same process everywhere, you can leave one stone dull while overworking the other.
Marble floor polishing with light diamonds

We used a chemical polish with light diamonds to bring the marble back without cutting the floor more aggressively than needed. Light diamond work helps remove fine scratches, etching, and traffic wear while keeping the restoration appropriate for the condition of the stone.
On the bathroom marble, we finished with Bellinzoni Italian wax. That added a clean, rich reflection without making the floor look plastic or coated. The right finish should make the stone look like stone again, not like a layer of product sitting on top of it.

Granite countertop cleaning and polishing
The granite countertop was soiled and marked up when we arrived. Granite is tougher than marble, but it still collects oil, residue, hard water minerals, and cleaner buildup. On this job, we used hot steam cleaning to break down the soil before polishing and finishing the surface.

This is why professional countertop restoration is different from wiping the surface down. We are looking at the stone, the finish, the residue, and the sealer condition. The cleaning step has to remove what is bonded to the granite without damaging the polish. After cleaning, we brought the reflection back so the lights and windows read clearly in the counter again.

Mixed marble and granite areas need a different approach
One of the slower parts of the job was a floor area where granite was mixed with marble. We used a chemical polish there because the finish had to be balanced across two different stone types. That part took longer than expected, but rushing mixed stone is how you end up with inconsistent shine.
We also cleaned and sealed the black and white entry tile at the end of the project. Entry areas take grit from shoes, dust from the desert, and moisture from cleaning. Sealing helps slow future staining and makes routine maintenance easier.
The finished result

The home took two days. By the end, the floors had a much cleaner shine, the granite was free of heavy soil and marks, the bathroom marble had a rich Bellinzoni finish, and the entry tile was cleaned and sealed.
